Susan Bateman

Susan Bateman attended L.S.U. in Baton Rouge, LA on a full swimming scholarship. Upon completing a degree in Environmental Health, Susan moved to Houston, TX. While working full time at the Texas Medical Center Library (a consortium library of the Texas Medical Center medical schools), Susan earned a master’s degree in Management, Computing and Systems. Susan moved to Lafayette, CO with her partner and two young children in 1997 to be closer to relatives. After a long and fun career in information technology, Susan retired in May 2023. Susan is now excited to leverage her “systems approach to all things” in order to help achieve universal health care for all.
