Sara Wright

Director of Communications

Sara Wright is a writer and journalist who wrote her first story on health care—an investigative report on Boulder’s nursing homes—at age 17. In addition to writing and editing for news sites in Colorado and in South Carolina, she has worked in marketing for a health care group purchasing organization; in health insurance billing for a psychiatrist; and is a certified massage therapist. She’s committed to social justice, co-writes songs and plays bass in the band Radiant Deep, and loves to dance. Her experiences working for Colorado for Universal Health Care, owning her own business, and as a mother and Type I diabetic all give her first-hand understanding of the need for quality, affordable health care for all.
