How do you sign up?

Log in or sign up for a digital account
For King Soopers go to the King Soopers Sign In Page
For City Market go to the City Market Sign In Page

Navigate to the Community Rewards Page
Go to “My Account,” and click on “Community Rewards” on the left

Search for the Colorado Foundation, either by:
Name: Patient Advocacy Coalition dba Colorado Foundation, or,
Non-Profit Organization Number (NPO): XD874

Select the Colorado Foundation and click enroll
Remember!
You must swipe your registered King Soopers or City Market loyalty card or use the phone number that is related to your registered King Soopers or City Market loyalty card when shopping for each purchase to count.
Purchases will not count for the Colorado Foundation for Universal Health Care until after you register your loyalty card.

Safeway Community Giving Card
Help bring universal health care to Colorado while buying groceries, gas, and prescriptions. Safeway gives the Foundation 5 percent of the total you spend with your community giving card!
How do you sign up?

Purchase a Safeway Reloadable Gift Card for $5
You can buy one here. The card is preloaded with $5, but you can reload your card for any amount up to $500

Use the gift card to pay for your purchases at Safeway
Safeway will give the Foundation a check for 5 percent of the total you spend! (Almost all items are covered excluding some services such as lottery tickets, stamps, and other gift cards).

Reload your card
Give the card to your cashier before your purchases are scanned and specify how much you’d like to put on the card. Then, use the gift card to pay for your purchases. You can reload the card again and again.
*Note: If you reload the card right before scanning your groceries at the same register, it’s easy and fast. However, if you reload the card at Customer Service or a different register, you may experience a 5 to 10 minute delay before other registers reflect the new balance.
What’s the catch?
None! There are no extra costs associated with this program. A $5 gift card is redeemable for $5 in Safeway merchandise. This is a way for Safeway to encourage shoppers to patronize their store while supporting the Foundation.
How long is the card good for?
The dollar amount on the card never expires. However, if your card balances goes to zero, and you don’t re-load it within 90 days, the card does become inactive, and you will need to purchase a new card from the Foundation. If you re-load a card after it turns inactive, the Foundation will NOT get credit.
Where else can I use the cards?
The Safeway gift card is accepted at most Safeway-affiliated stores throughout the United States. It can even be used to pay for gas at Safeway gas station stores. Only the cards sold by the Foundation are registered to reward the Foundation.
